Our Metal Panels are superior to anything else on the market in that they receive a one-of-a-kind Heat Forming process. Heat Forming prevents microscopic paint cracks, and enables the use of harder, more scratch resistant paints. This makes Walls Metal Roofing the perfect choice for commercial, residential, agricultural, architectural, and industrial buildings.

Rollforming steel at high temperatures prevents coatings, such as paint, from developing microscopic cracks at the bends. If you look at the bends of a regular panel with a microscope you’ll notice very visible cracks in the paint, unless the is paint soft. Cracks allow moisture, which is often contaminated by atmospheric pollutants, to penetrate the protective surface of the coating, and cause the substrate to rust or corrode. In fact, the fracture in the paint can cause a painted panel to corrode at a faster rate than an unpainted panel. At the point when the paint film has been opened, electrochemical cells are established which will promote greater and faster corrosive attack. The result is accelerated corrosion at these areas because of their tendency to remain wet longer.

Competitor's Panel Heat Formed

Photos show how our Heat Formed panel outlasts the competitor’s panel. The Heat Formed panel creates a paint system that is more flexible and therefore better able to withstand the rigors of the forming process. The paint coverage is not compromised and the result is an outstanding barrier protection. This barrier protection prevents corrosion by isolating the steel form.During construction soft paints scratch more easily. Anything from walking on the roof, debris from storms, sliding snow and ice, and leaning ladders can all lead to scratching in softer paint. These scratches will cause early failure.
